In this course we will improve technique, intonation and work on  some challenging and beautiful pieces from the flute repertoire. We will work on finding a beautiful tone and preparing for concerts or exams in musical academies or conservatoires. For interested people we can also study orchestral excerpts or do duets together!

Attention! High frequencies!

In this Course we will discover the highest and smallest instrument in the orchestra instruments family!
We will touch these points: 

 - What is this little and funny instrument and how is it made?
 - How does it change from a normal flute?
 - How to make this instrument apparently so hard and small sing?
 - How to make high notes?
 - How to have a beautiful low register?
 - How to make piccolo play in tune?
 
 We will also play together in duos discovering (already pretty early and also naturally) harmony and tuning with each other, a thing particularly challenging with piccolos!
 

Piccolo flute lessons!

The main things that we will see will be depending on the level and on the tastes of the student. If the student starts from zero we will touch the following points gradually:

- What is this beautiful and charming instrument and how is it made?
- How to make the first sounds and how to blow in the headjoint?
- How to breath and how my diaphragm work?
- How to make my first notes?
- What is solfège? How do you read music?
- How to make articulations and advanced techniques on the flute?

I also love to play together in duos discovering (already pretty early and also naturally) harmony and improvisation.

And of course the most important thing is to have a goal! Like a song that you love and to be able to play it and many more to follow!
