Discover Your Voice: Introduction to Operatic Singing
This course is designed for beginners who are passionate about exploring the world of operatic singing. Whether you're new to singing or transitioning from another style, "Discover Your Voice" will introduce you to the essential vocal techniques and expressive tools that form the foundation of opera. Through practical exercises, vocal warm-ups, and selected repertoire, you'll learn to develop your voice in a healthy and powerful way.

Course Objectives:
1. Understanding Vocal Technique: Learn basic operatic techniques such as breath control, support, vocal projection, and resonance. 
2. Exploring Vocal Range and Flexibility: Discover your voice type and work on expanding your range and flexibility through carefully designed exercises.
3. Introduction to Operatic Repertoire: Sing your first arias and art songs, selected to suit beginner-level voices and build confidence in both technique and expression.
4. Developing Musicality: Focus on musical phrasing, rhythm, and articulation to enhance your singing style and performance.
5. Building Confidence and Stage Presence: Gain experience singing in front of others and begin to explore the basics of stage presence in a supportive environment.

This private singing lessons course is designed for those who wish to develop and refine their vocal technique, with a focus on specific exercises to improve breath control, voice projection, and vocal quality. Through a blend of technical exercises and carefully selected repertoire, we will work together to strengthen fundamental vocal skills while applying what you've learned in a musical context that allows for expressive growth and stylistic refinement.

Each class is adapted to the needs and level of the student. For each voice type, I prepare a personalized repertoire plan, featuring pieces with progressive and complementary challenges that will help shape and develop your vocal instrument in a well-rounded way. This repertoire is chosen with an eye toward building solid, structured technical and expressive progress.

I understand that every student has unique musical motivations and preferences, so I am open to repertoire suggestions. I believe learning is most effective and inspiring when working on pieces that resonate with you personally. If you have a specific piece or style in mind, I am happy to incorporate it into our studies. And if you don’t have preferences, no problem—I will guide you with repertoire that suits your needs and vocal goals.

My preferred languages for teaching are English, Spanish, and Italian. However, I am also comfortable with French if needed. I’m currently building my French skills, and I find joy in connecting through this language as I grow in it. The most important thing is our shared enthusiasm for learning, and we will absolutely understand each other!

Questo corso di lezioni private di canto è pensato per chi desidera sviluppare e perfezionare la propria tecnica vocale, concentrandosi su esercizi specifici per migliorare il controllo del respiro, la proiezione e la qualità della voce. Attraverso una combinazione di esercizi tecnici e di repertorio selezionato, lavoreremo insieme per rafforzare le abilità vocali di base e applicare quanto appreso in un contesto musicale che consente di affinare l’espressività e lo stile interpretativo.

Ogni lezione è adattata alle esigenze e al livello dell’allievo. Per ogni tipo di voce, preparo un piano di repertorio personalizzato, che include opere con difficoltà progressive e complementari per aiutare a modellare e sviluppare lo strumento vocale in modo completo. Questo repertorio viene scelto con l’obiettivo di costruire un progresso tecnico ed espressivo solido e strutturato.

Comprendo che ogni studente ha motivazioni e preferenze musicali proprie, e per questo sono aperta a suggerimenti di repertorio. Credo che l’apprendimento sia più efficace e motivante quando si lavora su brani che appassionano. Se hai qualche brano o stile in mente, sarò felice di includerlo nel percorso didattico. E se non hai preferenze, nessun problema: ti guiderò io stessa con un repertorio adatto alle tue necessità e ai tuoi obiettivi vocali.

Le lezioni si svolgono in inglese, spagnolo e italiano, ma possiamo anche comunicare in francese, se necessario. Sto attualmente affinando il mio francese e trovo molto gratificante poter interagire e creare connessioni attraverso questa lingua. Il più importante è l’interesse e la passione per imparare, e ci comprenderemo perfettamente!

This program offers students a comprehensive artistic development, shaping them into well-rounded performers. Covering key areas such as vocal technique, style, stagecraft, and music theory, students work closely with renowned international experts, gaining valuable insights from diverse professionals. 

In addition, the program provides unique opportunities to gain international experience through the European Opera Academy, offering placements in different countries. These exchanges expose students to various operatic traditions, enhancing their skills and expanding their artistic perspectives.

As a soprano who graduated with honors, achieving an outstanding final grade, I can vouch for the immense value of this education. Combining rigorous training with real-world performance opportunities, the program equips students to succeed in the highly competitive opera world, preparing them for a flourishing professional career.

As an active member of this esteemed company, which provides opportunities for advanced students and emerging professional singers, I bring a wealth of experience to my teaching. I have had the privilege of debuting in a variety of iconic Mozart roles, including Despina, Susanna, Ninetta, Zerlina, Papagena, and Pamina. In addition, my performance experience extends into the Bel Canto repertoire, where I have embodied characters from the operas of Rossini, Bellini, and Donizetti.

Last year, I took on the honor and challenge of performing the lead role in a contemporary opera by a Spanish composer, showcasing my versatility and dedication to the art form. My extensive stage experience and deep understanding of the vocal demands of these roles allow me to offer useful insights as an active performer. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and  ensuring students receive the guidance of someone who is not only experienced but also currently thriving in the world of opera.
