As the bandleader and composer of my own quintet, I would describe it as such:
From jagged odd-meter grooves to twisted bebop lines and 12-tone detours, Zoé’s Big Mess Ensemble celebrates diversity and musical messiness. Playing only original compositions, this quintet embraces the unexpected, offering a musical experience that’s truly “all over the place”, in the best possible way.

At the AMR (Association pour l’encouragement de la Musique Improvisée) in Geneva, I am actively involved both as a musician and as part of the association’s structures. I play concerts, organize and take part in workshops, and contribute to collective projects around jazz and improvised music. I am also engaged in the ComEga (the diversity department), where I work on making the association more accessible and inclusive, addressing questions of equality, representation and community life.

Ein Kombinationsstudiengang für Theologie und Musik, in dem beides mit Bachelor-Niveau abgeschlossen hat. Mein Hauptinstrument war die (E-/A-)Gitarre und Klavier und Gesang meine Nebeninstrumente.
Die Middlesex University ist die Universität, die den Studiengang akkreditiert hat. Angeboten und durchgeführt wurde dieser durch das Theologische Seminar St. Chrischona in Basel.

Über 8 Jahre hatte ich intensiven Klavierunterricht, der hauptsächlich auf Klassik ausgerichtet war. Nach einigen Jahren kamen dann auch Blues und Jazz dazu.

In der neuland Kirche spiele ich als Gitarrist und MD, leite eine Band und bin einer von mehreren Leitern, die den ganzen Musikbereich leiten.

Während meines Studiums (Theologie & Musik) habe ich mein Hauptinstrument - die Gitarre - gemeistert, durch viel Bandcoaching das Live-Performen und durch viele musikalischen Einsätze auch das Leiten gelernt.

Ehrenamtlich als Gitarrist und Bassist in 2 Bands mitgespielt und eine Jugendgruppe mit der A-Gitarre begleitet.

MB Gemeinde

Als Bassist in der Band "Blaulicht" haben wir zusammen mit deutschem Rock-Pop zahlreiche Konzerte gegeben, einen Band-Wettbewerb (Battle of the Bands) gewonnen und haben eine EP aufnehmen können.
